If you know me for even a while, I am sure that you know I wasn't a man who likes reading no matter what it is.
Since I moved into Uijeongbu here, I've been struggling to get rid of boredom. Once I leaned on English radio station or looking for any foreigners I met wherever it is. However, none of them were very successful.
Recently, I've found fun on reading books.
I didn't need to beg for being with me. They were always waiting for me on a shelves patiently then when I pick any of them they pleased me all the time.
last month I bought couple of books more, some for my friends who are trying to start learning English again and others for myself and family.
(this is like a rule that I have made... a bunch of book for myself with at least one of two books for my family)
First book, that I read was 'the diary of Anne Frank'
Like I mentioned before, until I had graduated from high school, books meant nothing to me...
books were just heavy thing and except for few... majority of them were worthless for me.
'The diary of Anne Frank?' Perhaps I had to read 10 to 15yrs ago. (of course I didn't)
and I think although I had any chances to read it I might not feel such hugh impression that I had this time...
I saw that book again in few month ago on a move 'freedom writers' (which is a true story)
On that movie there were many juveniles lost their ways to go or what to do... then a teacher 'Ms G' (don't remember if it was Mrs or Ms) took care of them sincerely.
She...
... this could be a long story if I wrote everything here...
I will add on some pics of them later..
talking back to the diary of anne frank, on some point of view... it is just a boring love story of fourteen years girl. (which is not likely interest me)
but this is a true story of a jew girl hidding from Nazi for almost 2 yrs on a attic.
Yes it is about a story of a girl in love, but pretending she is not in love (at least at the beginning)
And that story brought me back to my old memories... loved someone but pretend not.
You know first time touching loved one's hair... or putting a hand over his or hers shoulder makes you happiest in the world.
Just chatting and finding common or different things with him or her.
and sometimes having some conflict as well...
Yon know... 'A LOVE STORY'
she... wrote so many things as if she confess them all to kitty (which was like myself..... I mean the 'reader', in this case it was me ofcourse)
well... Anne frank was cought and took away on Aug. 4th. 1944 then died on March. 1945
I... feel so sorry for her wasting valuable time and living a meaningless life, which could be such energetic and worthful if it were her own...
She...'Anne Frank' reminds me the ordinary phrase.
"Today that I wasted in vain is the tomorrow that was most wanted by the people who died yesterday."
