speaking script - describe a historical place 'DMZ'

I am so sure that this script below has no worth you to read due to its quality. It is very likely including immense number of grammatical errors, or it may contain inappropriate words or sentences for the IELTS test.

however, I want you to have some brief idea how to begin, which actuall I was looking for when I was endeavouring to know how to start.

As you know obviously, Korea is only divided country in the world and it is divided into North and South since the outbreak of the korea war in 1950.

 

Soviet Union and United State of America established a border that cut Korean penisula roughly in half,

 

It is about 250 kilometers long (approximately 155 miles) and 4Km wide (2.5 miles) and it is the most heavily militarized border in the world, conversely, it is called a heaven for rare animals, birds, and plants.

 

It is considered a only place where the nature remains undisturbed (untouched)

 

 

The DMZ is located officially in Paju, only about 45km away from seoul, the capital of South Korea,

There are couple of ways to get there such as public transportation, tour bus, or you can drive you own car.

 

Using tour bus, DMZ tours take about 5 hours including transit to and from Seoul

 

 

 

The DMZ is a place where you can see not only war and peace, but also division and unification.

 

For over fifty years the areas surrounding the DMZ have been restricted to the public.  As a result, they have become a wildlife preserve containing incredible biodiversity. 

 

The DMZ and its surrounding areas are now referred to as the Peace and Life Zone.
