수업을 마무리 하는 효과적인 Teacher Talk

매일 매일 routine으로 하는 학급 활동들. 매일 매일 하지만 할 때마다 왠지 자신감이 없었던 선생님들이 유용하게 사용될 수 있는 간단한 teacher talk입니다. 매일 하는 것일수록 학생들에게 정확하고 실제적인 영어 표현을 계속해서 제공하여 학생들도 자연스럽게 자연스러운 영어를 익힐 수 있도록 해야겠죠? 쉽다고 그냥 넘기지 마시고 다시 한 번 선생님의 routine teacher talk를 확인해 보셔요~유치/초등 저학년학생들 맞춤 표현이므로 고학년학생들 teacher talk는 좀 더 formal하게 바꾸어서 다양하게 사용해 보세요.
1. 마무리할 시간 Time to stop
이제 거의 멈춰야 할 때에요. It's time to stop
이제 끝내야 할 것 같아요. (I'm afraid/ Sorry but) it's time to finish (now)
종이 울렸네요. 끝내야 해요. There's the bell/ That's the bell. It's time to stop
시간이 없어요. We've run out of time
다음 시간 학생들이 (밖에서/들어오기를) 기다라고 있어요. The next class is waiting (outside/ to come in)
그 활동 마무리하기 30초 전이에요. 거의 끝내야 할 시간이에요. 30 seconds to finish that activity. It's nearly time to go
(우리가 할 수 있는 시간이) 오늘은 여기까지 에요. That's all (we have time) for today
2. 아직 끝날 때가 아닐 때 Not time to stop.
아직 종이 울리지 않았어요. The bell hasn't gone yet.
아직 2분 남았어요. There are still two minutes to go.
오늘은 좀 일찍 끝난 것 같아요. We seem to have finished early.
우리 5분의 여유시간이 있어요. We have an extra five minutes.
종이 울릴 때까지 조용히 있어요/종이 울린 것 같지 않은데요. Sit quietly until the bell goes. / I don't remember hearing a bell
잠시만요 Wait a minute/ Hang on a moment/ Just hold on a moment/ Stay where you are for a moment/ Just a moment, please. / Just a sec/ Just a second/ Wait for it!
자기 자리로 돌아가세요/어디 가는 걸까요?/너무 일찍 서두르는 것 같지 않아요? (Go) back to your places/ Where do you think you are going?/ Don't you think you are jumping the gun?
3. 정리 할 때 Clearing up
책과 연필을 가방에 넣으세요. Put your books and pencils away/ in your bag
책을 덥고 가방에 넣으세요. Close your books (and put them in your bags)
지금 짐을 정리해도 좋아요. You may pack away now
(교실/책상을) 정리하세요. Tidy up (the classroom/ your desks) please
쓰레기는 쓰레기 통에 넣으세요. Put any rubbish in the bin
제일 처음 정리를 마친 팀에 점수 주겠어요. (제일 먼저 나갈 수 있어요)The first team to tidy up gets an extra point/ can leave first
정리 노래네요, 여러분이 무엇을 해야 할까요? That's the tidy up song, so what do you have to do?
4. 숙제 Homework
칠판에서 오늘의 숙제를 받아 적으세요. Copy tonight's homework from the board
워크북에다 이 숙제들에 동그라미 하고 오늘 저녁에 숙제 하세요. Circle these exercises in your workbooks and do them tonight
(숙제를 기억하는지 확인해 볼께요) 숙제가 뭐였죠? (Let's check that you remember). What's the homework?
책 뒤 쪽에서 답을 확인 해 보고 질문이 있으면 내일 하세요. Check your answers at the back of the book and ask me tomorrow if you have any questions
오늘 숙제가 없어요 (내일은 숙제가 없어요). There is no homework tonight (but there will be tomorrow)
나가면서 워크시트 가져가세요. Take a worksheet as you leave.
다음 시간 전까지 무엇을 해야 하죠? What do you have to do before the next lesson?
5. 다음 시간 Next time
다음 시간에 이 과의 나머지를 할꺼에요. We'll do the rest of this chapter next time.
시간이 없으니 다음 시간에 계속 할께요. We've run out of time, so we'll continue next lesson.
다음 시간에 오늘과 같은 팀으로 앉으세요. / 내일 이것 계속할 테니까 다시 같이 앉도록 하세요. Please sit in the same teams in the next class/ We're going to continue with this tomorrow, so please sit together again
우리는 15분 쉬는 시간을 가질꺼에요 (그러니까 11:23분까지 돌아와야 하는거죠) We'll take fifteen minutes' break (so that means you have to be back at <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />11:23)
쉬는 시간을 조금 늦게 시작했네요. 그러니까 11:30까지 돌아오세요. We're taking our break a bit late, so be back here by 11:30.
6. 작별 인사 할 때 Saying goodbye
쉬는 시간 후에 7번 교실에서 봐요. See you in room 7 after the break.
휴일 잘 보내세요. Have a good holiday.
다음 주에/내일/수요일 마다/다음 학기에/휴일 끝난 후에/나중에/오늘 오후에 보아요. See you next week/ tomorrow/ on Wednesday/ next term/ after the holiday/ later/ this afternoon
일어나서 학급 친구들에게 안녕 인사 하세요. Stand up and say goodbye to the class, please
작별 인사 노래 해요 (안녕 하고 손 흔들어요) Let's sing the goodbye song (and wave goodbye)
7. 교실 나갈 때 Leaving the room
잘 앉아 있는 팀이 (책상 밑에 다리를 넣고 조용히 앉아있는) 집에 제일 먼저 갈 수 있어요. Whichever team is sitting nicely (and quietly, with your legs under the table) can go home first
줄을 서세요/문 옆에 줄을 서에쇼. (뛰거나 밀지 마세요/뛰거나 밀면 줄 맨 뒤로 가야해요) Get into a queue/ line up next to the door. (No running and no pushing/ Any running or pushing means you have to go to the back of the line)
줄을 서서 종을 기다려요. Form a queue and wait for the bell.
나가면서 조용히 하도록 해요/소리지르지 말아요/복도에서 말하지 말아요. Try not to make any noise as you leave/ No shouting/ No speaking in the corridor
나가면서 조용히 해요. 다른 학습은 아직 수업중이에요. Be quiet as you leave. Other classes are still working.
