외국인 친구랑 대화 중 잃어버린 물건에 대해 얘기했는데
There wasn't my cap in that room이라고 했더니 틀렸다고 하네요
There are chairs in the room 은 맞는데
There are my chiars in that room은 틀렸다고 하고...
이건 어떤가요?
My chair is there in that room.

가주어의 일종으로 쓰이는 there + be동사 등 + 진짜주어 형식에선, 진짜주어가 ~
(a) 부정관사(a/an)가 있거나,
- There's a hole in my tights.
(b) [어떠한 관사]도 없는 경우,
- There's ice on the lake.
- There was dancing (동명사) in the streets.
(c) some, any, no와 같은 부정 한정사(indefinite determiners)가 있거나, 또는
- There are some people outside.
- There were no footsteps to be seen.
(d) somebody, nothing와 같은 부정 대명사 (indefinite pronouns)가 있을 때 사용된다는 규칙이 있습니다.
- Is there anybody at home?
- There's something worrying me.

그러므로 definite determiner인 my가 쓰여서 there is/was/were ~ 구문으로는 못쓰이는 것입니다.
There wasn't my cap in that room
=> My cap wasn't in that room
There are my chiars in that room
=> My chairs are in that room
My chair is there in that room.
there는 in that room과 같다고 볼 수있기에, 통상 넣어줄 필요가 없습니다.
